Connecting horses and humans through mutual respect.

Changing our approach to horsemanship.

Horsemanship begins with you, and likely your most valuable asset, YOUR TIME. The connection between you and your horse is not the English language, carrots, or horse treats, but rather a FEEL that develops through time spent together.

About Brian.

Our leadership team brings together years of experience in horsemanship, horse training, adventure rides, and horse disciplines such as team roping, barrels, playday obstacles, ranch roping, etc. We’re results driven and can provide multiple references upon request.

Brian’s story with horses is one that doesn’t get much closer. He learned horsemanship through his own healing and growth after retiring from the Marines. His approach is strong yet soft, and is the heart of what true leadership is. Read more on his philosophy…

What clients are saying…

I thought it was a lost cause with Oakley. After being in a program, getting broke for 9 months, he was terrified to go to the right to the point where I thought he may be blind in his right eye; he would bolt in the other direction. Brian, with his kind and encouraging training program, helped Oakley get over his fear. Oakley is now thriving in a Hunter jumper program… thank you so much Brian!

I followed Brian for months on Instagram before finally deciding to start lessons with him. It was my dream to learn to ride again and have my own horses.

My husband and I are beginners and have been doing lessons with Brian and Ana for four months. We have grown so much in confidence with the help of the Lawsons. Not only have we taken riding lessons with them but Brian and Ana have taught us how to care for our horses and build trust. There has been an endless amount of support and we even have our own horses now.

If you’re thinking about joining the horse world or sharpening up your skills for you or your horse, we highly recommend the Lawsons!

“If someone ever wonders what empathy is, just listen what this horse trainer Brian says about a blind horse. I wish that there more men like you Brian in this world. Our world needs more love and empathy. All respect Brian for your outstanding work with all horses1”
